HEAD OF GROUP OPERATIONS

An experienced Head of Operations is required to join The Inkerman Group’s senior management team in order to manage and deliver all operations within the Group’s businesses, across all security, crisis management, operations, intelligence, travel safe, protection, surveillance, and political risk.

A significant leader, with direct report to the CEO, this role will be responsible for

  • business development and delivering increased revenue with particular emphasis on crisis management, business travel security and political risk,
  • providing strategic direction to the business teams, and
  • the detailed management of all resources – time, people and money, in line with client requirements and within operational guidelines, standards and budgets.

Responding to management and client briefs, this critical role effectively pulls everything together on the ground including all the administrative, equipment, operational arrangements and intelligence requirements.

Candidates should have previous operations and / or political risk experience, some of which must have been gained in a commercial environment and at senior management level. The successful candidate will also be an experienced manager of people, with highly tuned client-facing and interpersonal skills. Membership of The Security Institute, Certified Protective Professional (CPP) and Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) accreditations would be a distinct advantage, as would an additional language to English.
