Inkerman Group Special Projects are on call and have the ability and detailed knowledge to support clients in the protection of locations, routes, assets or areas through the adoption of systematic search processes utilising search dogs and handlers.
We offer specialist search services in both isolation or in tandem with other specialist services as an holistic solution to client’s requirements. The advantages of our approach to the deployment of search assets is one of consideration and planning balanced against clients’ needs and expectations providing cost effective solutions to mitigate both explosive and drug risks to events, premises and assets dependant on specific risk or under general security and safety precautions, quickly and quietly without fuss.
Our services are bespoke to each client’s specific requirements and as dictated by the threat.
We are international in our reach and have search dogs available for deployment in Europe already prepared with the relevant passports. Our handlers are Security Industry Authority (SIA) licensed for frontline services.

SEARCH ADVICE AND PLANNING
Our operational handlers have a wealth of experience in the planning, deployment and use of search dog assets and are on hand to offer advice to clients with simple or complex issues. Our operational background comes in the main from the military and police inclusive of corporate environments. Our knowledge being utilized through the delivery of search services both on the UK mainland and overseas locations.
Our key Search Advisers have vast experience of working within many differing environments and advising of search planning and equipments. We have the ability to deploy a physical search team in support of our K9 search assets or as a standalone function using a wide spectrum of equipments that includes:
• Explosive Particulate Detectors
• Explosive Vapor Detectors
• Metal Detectors
• X-ray machines
• Specialist search equipments (GPR, Fibre Optics).
The depth of experience and operating environments our personnel have faced over the years is “second to none” with operating & planning experience being gained and delivered in the following environments:

TRAINING CURRENCY
All handlers and dogs undergo a continual process of assessment and continuation training with 'live' explosives, for which our personnel are licensed and authorised to utilise through the UK Police.
It is critical that our handlers follow the set process of Phase 1 and Phase 2 searching in order to ensure that the area is systematically searched in a logical and defined manner so that no area is left unsearched.
The Inkerman Group has access to a full range of 'in use' substances that could be detected, and which may vary from client locations.
DRUG DETECTION DOGS
Drug Detection Dogs are available as either 'passive' or 'pro-active' and dependant on the tactical picture can be tailored to the needs of the operation/intended deployment based on the contributing factors such as:

• Working environment
• Access Restrictions / Limitations
Drug Detection Dogs are offered with the following drug odours:
• Marijuana

EXPLOSIVE DETECTION DOGS
Explosive Detection Dogs are trained on a wide range of commercial and military explosives, all of which can be discussed on request.

DEPLOYMENT
Above all in our service delivery is the welfare of our animals. Our teams deploy in vehicles that have the animal welfare at its heart with food, ventilation and climate being uppermost so that the dogs and handlers arrive prepared to undertake the required tasks.
Our methodology is a discreet service whilst meeting both legislative and clients’ local Health and Safety requirements.
